How to Deal with Dry Skin
Dry skin creates various problems such as early aging, r
ashes, itchiness etc., so try to avoid hot shower bath, also avoid harsh soap as much as possible. Too much usage of soap can damage your skin. You can use herbal face wash which is of less chemicals.
Mash some ripe bananas and spread it on your face. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Milk cream contains lactic acid helps exfoliate dry skin. Milk cream is also an excellent moisturizer and soothes your skin.
- Directly apply the milk cream on your face and leave it 15 minutes then rinse it off with warm water.
- Mix lemon juice with two teaspoons of milk cream. Rub it on your hands and legs. Leave it on for a while before you take a shower. Do this once daily.
- Mix few teaspoon of milk cream to three tablespoons of gram flour, make a thick paste and apply it on your face, hands and legs, even you can use is all over your body. Allow it for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Do this once daily.
Yogurt is an excellent skin-hydrating agent and helps to soothe dry and itchy skin.
Apply fresh yogurt on your hands, face and legs and gently massage your skin. Allow it for 10 minutes and then take a bath or shower. The mild exfoliating action of yogurt will remove dry skin and leave your skin refreshed. Do this once daily.
Coconut oil contains fatty acids which is good for dry skin. Heat the coconut oil and apply warm oil. Leave it for 30 minutes and then take shower. Do this daily to make your skin soft and smooth.
Olive oil contains many antioxidants and healthy fatty acids that are good for your skin.
Before half an hour before taking a shower, rub some olive oil on your body and massage gently. Take a shower and then apply a light moisturizer.
